Kathy Santoro

Kathy Santoro is the Senior Director of HR Programs and Operations in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Kathy joined FAS in September of 2013 following more than 25 years in human resources. She has deep experience in all areas of human resources across a variety of industries. Her expertise in finding creative approaches to solving problems stems from years as an organizational troubleshooter and HR leader. She is responsible for delivering HR programming that develops strong leadership and management practices; that promotes diversity, engagement and collaboration; and that recognizes the accomplishments of FAS staff. She also oversees FAS Talent Acquisition and Development.

Kathy received her BS in Psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara, and her Master’s in Education, Counseling Psychology from Boston College.
