Checklist for FAS Employees

Before Returning to Campus

  1. Discuss your work schedule and health and safety protocols for your location (including cleaning protocols for your own workspace and communal workspaces such as restrooms and kitchens) with your manager or department administrator.

  2. If you have concerns about returning to work, talk to your manager, department administrator and/or HR Consultant.

  3. Review and sign the FAS Community Commitment.

  4. Complete the required Covid-19 Safety Awareness training (either the COVID-19 Safety Awareness Training or the Lab COVID-19 Awareness Training, depending on your work setting) on the Harvard Training Portal.

  5. You will be required to attest to your wellness on a daily basis in order to access any Harvard facility. Download the Crimson Clear mobile app or complete a printable form if unable to access Crimson Clear.

  6. Take a baseline viral test offered by Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) ideally two to three days after returning to campus, but no later than two weeks following your return. (Test results from outside providers will not be accepted.) Regular testing, possibly unobserved, will be required if you will be working on campus for more than four hours per week.

After Returning to Campus

  1. Attest to your health via Crimson Clear or a paper form before starting work on campus each day.

  2. Maintain your regular testing schedule as appropriate, depending on your role.

  3. Follow required health and safety protocols for your local unit as outlined by your manager or department administrator. Notify your manager or department administrator if you become aware of any Covid-19 related violations at your location.

  4. Stay informed on Covid-19-related updates while you’re working on campus. HUHS will provide updates and FAQs on their return to campus updates page.
