Non-Discrimination and Anti-Bullying Workshops
Harvard University is committed to providing an environment where each of us can participate fully in the life of the University, whether we are studying, teaching, conducting research, or working in other ways. More information about the University-wide policies on Non-Discrimination and Anti-Bullying, which became effective September 1, 2023, are available at the Office for Community Support, Non-Discrimination, Rights and Responsibilities’ site. The FAS has fully adopted the University’s policies and procedures on non-discrimination and anti-bullying. In addition, the FAS has updated its existing local conduct policies and procedures based on the recommendations from the FAS Committee to Review Conduct Policies and Procedures (CRCPP) and in alignment with the University’s new policies and procedures. The FAS policies can be found on the new Non-Discrimination, Anti-Bullying, and Other Conduct Policies website.
Supporting Healthy Communities: University Non-Discrimination and Anti-Bullying Policies
These workshops, tailored for FAS Staff, will review the new University-wide Non-Discrimination and Anti-Bullying Policies, describe the resources available for support, and explain the options available to address people’s concerns, including informal resolution approaches and the formal complaint process. We will engage in a dialogue about our professional responsibilities, work through scenarios, and learn strategies for preventing harassment, discrimination, and bullying in alignment with our values and to achieve our highest potential.
The learning objectives of the workshop are as follows:
- Gain familiarity with the NDAB policies and available resources
- Practice thinking about how we shape the culture of our work units
- Understand how Local Designated Resources can support you
Please check back in the coming months for additional workshop times and dates. You may click here to view other learning and development opportunities.
