Working at FAS

The FAS Human Resources Department holds a unique position: we serve both organizational interests, such as the development of a diverse and talented workforce, and individual interests, such as career growth and work/life balance. Whether you're visiting these pages on an organizational matter or on your own behalf, we hope you find HR to be a responsive, informative, and helpful partner in meeting your needs.

A place where the FAS is heard. On a broad level, as an administrative office of the FAS, the HR Department serves the overall needs of the organization. Our responsibilities include establishing and communicating personnel policies and procedures, including compensation programs; maintaining compliance with employment laws; and creating and supporting recruitment and training efforts.

A place where employees are heard. The HR Department is a service provider, and our clients include individual staff members (both exempt and non-exempt), managers, and entire departments. Each HR Consultant is assigned to particular Centers and Departments, and has detailed knowledge of the clients served and of the FAS' HR policies and resources. Your HR consultant is on your team, standing by to hear your individual and departmental needs and then help meet those needs directly or through the FAS' vast resources. Please make us your "go-to" partner for your work-related needs.
